Plain screw-top container, no preservatives

24hr collection: Refrigerate during collection, no preservative. Acidify specimens to a pH of <2.0 with 6N hydrochloric acid prior to centrifigation. Centrifuge specimen prior to testing. Once centrifuged the sample is stable for 2 days at room temperature at pH <5.0, not recommended at 2-8 °C and not recommended at -20 °C.
